Location: The modern and luxury complex Porto Platanias Beach Resort is originally built in 2000 and greatly extended with an impressive new part in 2007. This resort is designed to offer ultimate holiday pleasure at a perfect location in Platanias, one of the most attractive and colorful tourist settlements of the Chania region. The imposing main entrance of the hotel touches the main street of Platanias whilst the north side of the complex is situated at frontal seaside next to the sandy beach. Built in a sublime area of 30,000 sq.m. by the sea, the hotel features all modern amenities that can offer luxury and extreme relaxation one could desire on holidays.
The resort of Platanias, about 10km west of Chania-town, has developed into a popular cosmopolitan holiday destination over the past years. The center offers a wide range of nice little gift-shops, mini-markets, cafeterias, bars and taverns as well as practical facilities such as banks, a postoffice, a farmacy and a medical center (just outside of the village). A walk up the hill (approx. 300m.) gives you the chance to explore the original and picturesque part of the village of "Pano" (meaning: upper) Platanias, worthwhile to pay a visit.

Rooms: The hotel has been elegantly designed with 287 comfortable units and a wide range of facilities. There are various room types: Standard double rooms, Maisonettes, Family rooms, Family Rooms with private pool, Apartments, Studios, Executive Suites and Suites with private pool, all of which are tastefully furnished and fully air-conditioned (individually controlled air-conditioning unit for heating & cooling), have balcony or terrace overlooking the sea, the pool or the garden. All rooms are equipped with a marble bathroom with shower, hairdryer, satellite colour TV, music channels, Internet access*, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box*, small fridge or mini bar* on request.

Standard double rooms (2/3 persons): Twin beds or double bed. Views: front sea view or side sea view, garden view or pool view.

Family rooms (2/4 persons): a spacious bedroom featuring twin beds and a wooden partition separating it from the living room which features 1 double sofa bed and a terrace overlooking the garden.

Family rooms with private pool (2/4 persons): a spacious bedroom featuring twin beds and a wooden partition separating it from the living room which features 2 sofa beds (a single & a double) and a terrace with a private pool with mountain or garden view.

Maisonettes (2/4 persons): split-level rooms comprising a living room with 2 sofa beds (a single and a double) on the lower level and a twin-bedded room on the upper level communicating with each other by means of an internal wooden staircase. They feature a large marble bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub, as well as a balcony with pool view or garden view.

Apartments (2/4 persons): Two-rooms apartments or maisonettes with bedroom and living room with 2 sofa beds, including multi-kitchenette fully equipped, and a fridge. They also feature a balcony or a terrace overlooking the garden, the pool or the sea.

Studios (2/3 persons): One-room apartment, with multi-kitchenette fully equipped, and a fridge, overlooking the garden, the pool or the sea.

Suites (2/4 persons): A bedroom and separate living room with 2 sofa beds (single & double) a mini stereo with CD player, sophisticated furniture and extra facilities. They feature a marble bathroom with Jacuzzi and Hydro Massage Bathtub, large balconies with sea view, pool view or garden view.

Executive Suite (2/4 persons): One comfortable suite in 50m2. It consists of one bedroom with king size bed, a dining room with fully equipped kitchenette and a living room with 2 convertible couches and a big balcony. It also has 2 luxurious marble bathrooms with hydro-massage & extra facilities as well as DVD player, CD player and extra services.
Presidential Suite (2/6 persons): The biggest suite in 80m2. It consists of 2 bedrooms, one with king size bed, a dining room with fully equipped kitchenette and a living room with extinguished furniture, 2 convertible couches and a big balcony. It also has 3 luxurious marble bathrooms, one with hydro-massage & extra facilities as well as DVD player, CD player and extra services.

Service: Cleaning 7 x weekly. Change of linen 3 x weekly and towels 7 x weekly.
