Tsivaras Stone Villas - Tsivaras, Apokoronas

Location: The Tsivaras Stone Villas are four newly built stone houses in traditional style. These attractive houses are quietly situated, high up in the village and provide a wonderful view over the sea and the countryside. The input of personal care, ideas and interest by the owners Giorgos and Stella have resulted into an attractive holiday residence for clients demanding the unspoiled Cretan surroundings. The little village of Tsivaras mostly exists of little houses and the kafeneion. A minimarket is within walking distance. Tavernas and more shopping facilities can be found in the larger village of Kalives, a nice small-scaled tourist resort at the coast and offering a sandy beach at 2km of Tsivaras.

Houses: Three of the houses can accommodate up to 6 persons. In front of each entrance is a terrace with seating. The entrance of the house leads into the open, well-equipped kitchen area (offering a fridge, coffee machine, cooking-range with 4 hot plates and oven, a water boiler, a toaster, an extractor fan and an iron board with iron) with dining table and chairs. The comfortable adjoining living room offers a fireplace, TV, air-condition, traditional seating, a pull-out sofa/bed for 2 persons and a balcony. On this floor is also the first bathroom with shower/WC and washing machine. A wooden stairs leads to the upstairs of the house, where there are two bedrooms and another bathroom with bath/WC. Both bedrooms have a balcony and are furnished with either 2 single beds or 1 double bed and equipped with air-condition. The fourth house however provides three bedrooms for a max. of 8 persons and has its own private swimming pool.

Service: Cleaning 2 x per week. Change of linen and towels 2 x per week.

Facilities: In front of the houses we find the fresh water swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas for the three houses (without private pool). Next to this area is a covered terrace, a pleasant place for relaxation. The barbeque is for general use.

At 100m distance our clients can use the community tennis court, mini soccer field and basketball court, all without paying the normal charge, specially offered by the owner of Tsivaras Villas.

Remarks: Reservations on Room Rate basis. Baby cots are available on request. These new houses offer nowadays comfort surrounded by the idyllic atmosphere and friendly character of the traditional architecture. The immediate area of Tsivaras is not spoiled by mass tourism and therefore a unique place for visitors seeking for real Cretan holidays.
