Falassarna Beach - West Crete
Location: One of the nicest beaches of Crete is located at the north-west side of the island. A rural area, breathtaking panoramic views, amazing clear and turquoise waters, sandy beaches and a great tranquility are the characteristics of the area of Falassarna, to be recommended especially to clients trying to avoid the popular and touristic hotelresorts with organized entertainment and who are just longing for space and relaxing holidays. The accommodation of Falassarna Beach is situated up the hill right next to the beach. The walking distance to the beach is 150m. The area of Falassarna itself offers just a handful of apartments, pensions, a mini-market and local taverns; the pure and natural facets still dominate the area. Not far away is the village of Platanos (5,5 km) with a bank, bakery and supermarket, whilst the real Greek town of Kastelli (14km) offers also public services, like medical aid, post office and a variety of shops. During the season there is a local bus connection from Falassarna to Chania (55kms ) v.v. with stops in Platanos and Kastelli.
Rooms: The 3-storey building consists of a total of 22 studios (for 2-3 pax), 10 2-room apartments (2-4 pax) and 16 hotel rooms. The units are simple though comfortably and practically furnished. The studios have a living/sleeping area with a double or two single beds (extra bed is possible), a kitchenette, a bathroom with shower/toilet and a balcony offering a splendid view to the sea or the mountains. The 2-room apartments have a quite similar interior as the studios, however the 2-room apartments are provided with a separate bedroom with a double or two single beds. The hotel rooms are similar to the studios without the kitchenette.
Service: Cleaning 6 x p.week. Change linen and towels 2 x p.week.
Facilities: A small reception with safety deposit box* and a tavern with a spacious terrace where breakfast can be served (not included in the price).
