Areti Apartments - Megala Chorafia
Enjoy the Cretan hospitality of the owners and their friendly family and experience a warm welcome at the Areti Apartments, built in 2002 and in our program ever since. Do you prefer distance from the modern touristy settlements at the coastline? Here up the hill in the green countryside far from crowds, our visitors find tranquility, beautiful views to the Bay of Souda or the White Mountains, a pleasant environment and an accommodation in a spacious garden with flowers and olive trees: an ideal holiday address for a calm stay and relaxing holidays. The Areti complex is built with stone in a traditional style and features an authentic and traditional style in furnishing and decorations. The original small hilltop village of Megala Chorafia in it's origin with the village-square and "kafeneion" is situated approx. 900m from the complex, centrally located to explore nearby villages in the Apokoronas district or make further daytrips. We suggest a rental car as Chania and other villages are within a fair driving distance. The coastal village of Kalives (3,5km) offers all facilities for daily needs as a supermarket, bank and taverns, together with a lovely sandy beach at the turquoise Aegean Sea.
