Haris Hotel - Agia Marina
Location: The Haris Hotel was built in 1991 and is located in the area of Agia Marina, 10 kms far from the city of Chania, at the frontline of a great sandy beach with view to the Thodorou island. On the one side the building site of the hotel is adjacent to the beach and on the other to the central road, which connects Chania with the west seaside part of the prefecture. Therefore the access to the hotel is convenient. This attractive hotel consists of two buildings only separated by the garden. The one building includes the reception area, the breakfast/dining area and some of the comfortable rooms, whilst the second building only consists of rooms. The friendly atmosphere at this accommodation together with the helpful staff make young and old feel at home. Along the main road of Agia Marina one finds taverns, mini-markets, little gift shops and a bus stop for public transportation. The hotel’s location is not very far from the lively tourist resort of Platanias (0,5 km far), which is a popular destination for both locals and foreign visitors. Therefore, the client is given a variety of opportunities for hours of leisure and fun within a fair distance from the hotel.
Rooms: There is a total of 50 hotel rooms (divided into family rooms with 4 beds and double rooms) of which almost all of them have (side) sea view. All the rooms are equipped with telephone, music, refrigerator, TV, air-condition*, safety deposit box*, a bathroom with bath or shower and WC, hairdryer and a balcony or terrace.
Service: Cleaning 6 x weekly. Change of linen and towels 3 x weekly.
Facilities: Via the main entrance on the first floor you enter the reception area, a comfortable and cozy place with a lobby, bar and satellite TV. This same main building also hosts the restaurant/tavern. For moments of relaxation you may enjoy the garden at the back side of the hotel where you find the swimming pool with a separated section for the children, free sun beds and the pool bar. Extra facilities at the hotel are the souvenir-shop, jewelry-shop, internet corner, children’s playground, room with billiard, pool soccer and parking facility. The sandy beach in front of the hotel offers deckchairs* and umbrellas*.
