Alkion Hotel - Kato Stalos
Location: only 8 km far from the lively and attractive town of Chania, one finds the seaside resort of Kato Stalos, a popular though not too crowded area for holiday time and especially known for its wonderful sandy beach, stretching out along the area of Kato Stalos and continuing to the Agia Marina/Platanias area into western direction. On both sides of the main road of Kato Stalos restaurants, cafeteria, mini-markets and tiny shops make a good setting for a stroll and relaxing afternoon- and evening hours.
The Alkion Hotel, built in 1985 and renovated in 2002, is situated at the main road at a very short walking distance from the beach (across the street). The two-floor hotel represents the Cretan traditional style combined with modern elements.
Rooms: the hotel rooms are divided over 2 floors: 7 on the ground floor and 13 on the first floor. All units have a private furnished balcony and most of them have sea view. All the rooms have been provided with the following amenities: individually controlled air-conditioning units*, telephone, refrigerator/mini bar, hair dryer, safety deposit box*, coffee maker, electric kettle, satellite TV connection and a bathroom with shower. Connected rooms are available (on request).
Service: cleaning 3x p. week. Change of linen and towels 2x p.week.
Facilities: a ground floor reception with Internet facility, the lobby and a post-modern, elegantly furnished lounge with cafι-bar. The small and cozy breakfast area is situated downstairs, as well as the gym. In front of the hotel there is a nice garden. The swimming pool behind the hotel and the pool bar offer the perfect opportunity for relaxation, fun and to meet people.
For small seminars there are also two meeting rooms available.
